ITISC Committee Honorary President – Kevin Beattie Sometimes things are just too good to be true. For Bobby Robson, then manager of Ipswich Town, the arrival of a brawny, wide eyed teenager off the train from Carlisle armed with a pair of football boots wrapped in brown paper and sixpence in his pocket proved to be one of them. The youngster, Kevin Beattie, would quickly develop into a footballing colossus for Robson and Ipswich Town, possessing all the attributes necessary to become one of English football's all time greats, perhaps one of the world's greats A boy in a man’s body, Beattie was quick, strong, tackled like an ox, was good in the air, comfortable with the ball at his feet and was dangerous going forward. In short, he had everything. The true Ipswich Town legend agreed to be President of this new Supporters’ club,

Chairman – Malcolm Thompson ITISC Chairman Malcolm Thompson is the lifeblood and the ‘brains’ behind the group which he formed in January 2006. With his unstinting enthusiasm and tireless work for the group, he hopes to see its membership and standing within Ipswich Town FC grow. Ipswich Town through and through, Malcolm can sometimes be guilty of thinking that the end of the world is nigh when results do not go according to plan. But he is there week in week out in support of the Town, and there is no doubt that his devotion to Ipswich Town is nothing less than 100 per cent. Malcolm is now undertaking many events to help raise funds for MS. They include a 45 mile charity run from Haverhill to Portman Road and recording a ITFC song with the band, The Ballistics.
